There are lots of things to do in "Sin City", here is a list of  Las Vegas Activities.
 
If your in the Las Vegas area, consider a trip to the Grand Canyon. I was recently there and it will take about 4 hrs of driving to reach the rim from Vegas. Once there you should either see the sun set or rise. Stay the night, and head back to Vegas the next day. It's well worth the trip.
